A Woman alleges rape in Infosys Pune Campus

A woman filed a complaint with the Hindjewadi police against two men who had raped her in a lavatory  when she went to the washroom to freshen up.

The rape survivor worked as a cashier inside Phase 1 of the sprawling 114-acre campus and the suspects were housekeeping staffs, according to the police.

The woman also said to the police that one of the two accused had raped her while the other captured a video on his mobile and then accused threatened her not to inform anyone about this incident else they will upload the clip on social media.

On this incident, Infosys given a statement that the company will help the police for any kind of investigation. Infosys also said that they have a zero-tolerance policy against any kind of sexual harrassment which implies to all the staffs working inside the campus and the company will take necessary action as per the policy.
