Visit Tadoba to meet with Tigers

There are more than hundred forests in India. I haven’t visited all the forests in India and as you all know I’m very honest with my writing. Hence, my few relatives and friends visited there and every one of them sighted tigers. If you want to see Tigers, Tadoba is for you. You must visit that place. If you are a jungle safari lover then you would definitely enjoy this place. There are about 43 tigers in the reserve.

Animals which are always spotted

Various gates to enter the forest are Moharli, Khutwanda, Navegaon, Kolara, Zari Kolsa, and Pandagi. Visitors of Tadoba have disclosed that they have spotted leopard, cheetah, spotted Hyenas, spotted deer, wild boar, barking deer, gaurs, four horned antelopes, blue bulls, Indian Pangolins, Common Langoors and Porcupines.

Climate and weather

The best season to sight tigers are the hotter months (April to June). Winters stretch from November to February and the temperatures remain between 25-30 degree celcius and the park looks green. Summers are too hot in Tadoba as the temperature increases to 47 degree Celcius. Hence that’s the ideal time to sight mammals near the water lakes as the vegetation is also rare, increasing visibility. The Monsoon breaks in June with heavy rainfall of approx. 1275mm and humidity is around 66 percent.

People would recommend you to take a good guide so that you worth the trip but it is such a place you will get to see tigers at any way.

Accomodations

Accommodations are available at various locations. There are around 40 resorts situated across the various gates of Tadoba Tiger reserve.

Nearest International airport and railway station are Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport, Nagpur and Chandrapur railway station. From the station, Tadoba is only 45kms away. Nearest bus stands are Chandrapur and Chimur. From station, airport cabs and buses are easy to get to reach Tadoba
