Jagannath Astakam

Starmanch, an established name in the bengali music fraternity, is coming up with thier new release Jagannath Astakam on the auspicious occasion of Rath Yatra. The music arrangement of the song is done by Upali Chattopadhyay and sung by Jayati Chakraborty and Abhijeet Mishra from Orissa. This is an eagerly awaited release for the fans of Starmanch and devotees of Jagatpati (Jagannath) and it’s going to be release on 19th June, 2023 over Starmanch Youtube Channel.

Shri Jagannath Ashtakam was composed by Adi Sankracharya in praise of Lord Jagannath on his visit to Puri. The most important of hymns of Lord Jagannath, the Ashtakam was recited by Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu on his visit to Jagannath temple. The merit of reciting the sacred Jagannath ashtakam carefully is such that, one becomes sinless and pure hearted and gains entrance to Vishnuloka.

The song Jagannath Astakam will be a celebration for the devotees of Jagannath and a treat for music lovers.
