The Lawful Rapist

“I say nothing, not one word, from beginning to end, and neither does he. If it were lawful for a woman to hate her husband, I would hate him as a rapist.”
― Philippa Gregory

Yes, marriage is a sacred relationship. It is a sign of love and trust between two person who promise to take up all the responsibilities of each other. They promise to respect each other..it is a beautiful bonding. Hold on, hold on if marriage is empyrean, then from where does so many cases of marital violence comes?

Hey you, yes woman I am talking to you… do you consider marriage as a sacrament? If  not then you must because the society and the people believe that it is sacrosanct. Being a wife you should follow every word that comes out of the husband and also fulfill all the demands of him. Yes, we consider that a sexual intercourse without the will of the women is rape but here comes the satire, when the same thing happens between a husband and a wife we say it to be the duty of the woman to please him. Does marriage gives the husband a lawful dominance of having sex every single night against her consent? It is estimated that only 1% of such cases of are reported as marital rape is legalized in India.

It is like the license is already handed to the men. Now the wife is his personal property, he has full authority on her. So do not wait, get her, jump on her and satisfy your thirst. Show her you are a man, show her how manly you are, treat her like an object like your other family members do, force her to get enceinte even if she does not want to. Do not worry about your wife lodging a case of rape against you because the Indian Penal Code or the IPC does not consider this as a crime. In fact, a famous politician said “It is considered that the concept of marital rape, as understood internationally, cannot be suitably applied in the Indian context due to various factors, including level of education, illiteracy, poverty, myriad social customs and values, religious beliefs, mindset of the society to treat the marriage as a sacrament.” so dear husbands, ON YOUR MARK, GET SET, GO!

She  was raped and assaulted by her husband, she was hospitalized for her injuries. She even took the case  to India’s Supreme Court. Regrettably the petition was dismissed and the court said that the law cannot be changed on the foundation of one’s experience. According to Indian Penal Code, section 375, the acuteness of rape cannot be applied on a married couple even if it is without consent. In 2012, the justice Verma committee came into shape and kept the content of including marital rape in the concept of criminal offence but the government is uneager to do so and claimed that it can push the entire family under great stress.

GOVERNMENT, you really need to decide what actually you want, you say that a man is said to commit rape when he has a sexual intercourse without her will, without her consent, with her consent which is obtained forcefully and many more but at the end you always keep an exception that is “sexual intercourse by a man with his own wife not being under fifteen years of age is not rape.” even having sex with a sex worker is considered as rape then why cannot it be considered in case of a married couple, marriage is really sacred and does not allow any contaminated things to break it. But unfortunately our society is still patriarchal and does not really support woman to rise..behind the faces of feminists there are many trickster roaming around, SHAME ON YOU HYPOCRITES, SHAME ON YOU GOVERNMENT AND SHAME ON YOU SOCIETY.
